The AMT211 is a compact handheld surface roughness tester for shop-floor and mobile measurement of machined parts. It evaluates surface texture with a wide range of parameters (Ra, Rz, Rq, Rt and more) in a 320μm vertical measuring range, and displays results both digitally and graphically on a 3.5-inch color LCD. It complies with ISO 4287, ANSI B46.1, DIN 4768 and JIS B601.

Featuring an integrated design of main display unit, drive unit and sensor, the AMT211 offers Bluetooth printing, a mobile APP for wireless operation, DataView software for PC analysis, and a built-in 3000mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery with over 50 hours of working time. Optional curved-surface, small-hole and deep-groove sensors extend measurement to complex part shapes.

How to Use

1. Prepare — Turn on the tester, check the battery and clear the surface of the part to be measured.

2. Position the Instrument — Place it correctly and stably on the surface, with the pickup trace vertical to the process line.

3. Check the Pickup — Confirm the pickup position is near the middle of its range for the best results.

4. Start Measurement — Press the Start key or the Start touch area to begin tracing the surface.

5. Read & Review — View the results on the main and secondary displays, zoom the profile, or print and store the data as needed.
