The AMF081 packs eight measuring functions into a handheld weather meter: wind speed, air temperature, humidity, wind chill, dew point, barometric pressure, altitude and illumination. It is the instrument to reach for when a site visit turns up several questions at once instead of just one.

A matrix liquid-crystal display shows more information per screen than a conventional segmented LCD, and the backlight keeps it readable in the field. Data can be saved manually or recorded automatically, units can be switched to suit local practice, and the battery level is displayed so a measurement session does not end unexpectedly.
