The AMT22 is a portable free and total chlorine meter that quickly measures chlorine levels in water solutions using the EPA-approved DPD method. It covers a range of 0 to 5.00 ppm with a resolution of 0.01 ppm, giving you a fast, accurate reading for pool water, drinking water and industrial applications.

Built around an integrated microprocessor, the AMT22 offers a large 45 × 25 mm LCD, memory for up to 150 readings, and simple one-button operation. A low-battery alarm and automatic shut-off after 10 minutes help conserve power, making it an easy and reliable tool for routine chlorine testing.

How to Use

1.  Power On & Select Mode — Turn on the meter and press and hold the mode key for two seconds to choose FCL (free) or TCL (total) chlorine.

2.  Fill & Place Sample — Fill the glass bottle with 10 ml of sample, screw the lid on, clean the outside and place it in the meter, aligning the bottle line with the arrow.

3.  Zero Calibration — Press and hold the zero key for two seconds; wait until the display stops flashing and shows 0.00.

4.  Add Reagent — Remove the bottle, put one FCL (DPD-1) or TCL (DPD-4) reagent strip into the sample and move it back and forth gently for about 20 seconds.

5.  Read the Value — Return the bottle to the meter and press the read key to display the free or total chlorine concentration.

6.  Store & Clean — Press the store key to save the reading, then rinse the glass bottle to remove any remaining reagent.
