The MC-100 chlorophyll meter is a portable plant analysis device that measures leaf chlorophyll relative content (SPAD), nitrogen content, foliar humidity and leaf temperature in a single press. It helps growers understand real crop nitrogen demand, improve nitrogen-fertilizer utilization and reduce environmental impact caused by over-fertilization.
Two versions are available: MC-100 measures all four parameters — chlorophyll (SPAD), nitrogen content, leaf humidity and leaf temperature — while MC-100A measures chlorophyll (SPAD) and leaf temperature only. Choose the model that matches your field or laboratory workflow.
1. Non-destructive leaf testing — A 2 mm × 2 mm measuring area lets you check leaf health without damaging the plant.
2. Four parameters in one reading (MC-100) — Get chlorophyll SPAD, nitrogen content, leaf humidity and leaf temperature simultaneously.
3. Dual-wavelength optical system — Red light (650 nm) and infrared light (940 nm) pass through the leaf for reliable SPAD calculation.
4. Fast measurement — Each reading takes less than 3 seconds, ideal for rapid field surveys.
5. Built-in data storage — 32 KB memory stores about 2,000 measurement groups with sequence or jump review.
6. Rechargeable power supply — 4.2 V rechargeable lithium battery (2,000 mAh) supports extended field use.
7. User-friendly settings — Adjust time, auto power-off, language and backlight from the system menu.
1. Power on and calibrate — Turn on the meter and press the indenter with no object in the measuring position until the display shows “VERIFY SUCCESS”.
2. Insert the leaf sample — Place a leaf into the measurement position and press the indenter for about three seconds.
3. Read the values — The LCD displays CHL (SPAD), N, HUM and TEM values for the current sample.
4. View average data — Long press the OK key to display the recent average measurement.
5. Adjust settings — Press the MENU key to set time, power-save, language and backlight.
6. Manage stored data — Use READ DATA or DELETE DATA to review or clear saved measurement groups.
