High-precision 2" electronic digital theodolite engineered for fast, reliable angle measurement on construction and surveying sites.
The DE2A Electronic Digital Theodolite combines a 30× erect-image telescope, an absolute-encoder angle reading system, and a single-axis liquid-electric tilt compensator to deliver 2" (0.6 mgon) angular accuracy in a compact, lightweight body. Dual LCD displays and a 10-key pad let operators read and record horizontal and vertical angles directly at the instrument.
With hot-swappable Ni-H power, switchable angle units (deg / mil / gon / v%), and an optional coaxial red/green laser pointer, the DE2A adapts to layout, staking-out, and alignment tasks across general construction and land-survey workflows.
1. 2" Angular Accuracy — absolute-encoder reading system delivers precise horizontal and vertical angle measurement for demanding construction jobs.
2. Dual LCD Displays — front and back screens show readings simultaneously, improving efficiency for single-operator work.
3. 30× Erect-Image Telescope — clear, upright viewing with 1°30' field of view and 47 mm objective for sharp long-distance sighting.
4. Single-Axis Tilt Compensation — liquid-electric vertical compensator with ±3' range and 6" resolving power keeps readings stable on uneven ground.
5. Multi-Unit Angle Display — switch freely between degrees, mil, gon, and v% to match local survey standards.
6. Hot-Swappable Power — Ni-H battery (1600 mAh, ~10 h) with 6 V output; swap without powering down the instrument.
7. Optional Laser Pointer — coaxial red/green laser for quick aiming and alignment reference.
1. Set Up — mount the theodolite on a tripod via the tribrach, level it using the circular and tubular vials, and center over the station point with the internal laser plummet.
2. Sight the Target — aim the 30× telescope at the backsight/foresight, focus, and tighten the tangent clamps for fine adjustment.
3. Read & Record — read horizontal and vertical angles on the dual LCDs; switch units (deg / mil / gon / v%) as needed.
4. Compensate — the single-axis tilt sensor automatically corrects within ±3' so readings stay accurate on slightly uneven ground.
