HACCP 2-IN-1 INFRARED AND PROBE THERMOMETER
The AMT206 combines a non-contact infrared thermometer with a retractable K-type thermocouple probe in one compact instrument. Use infrared mode for quick surface checks or unfold the probe for contact measurements. A dual display shows the infrared and probe readings, while the HACCP zone display indicates whether a food temperature is in a cold-safe, danger-zone, or hot-safe range.

The display groups food temperatures into three HACCP zones: cold-safe below 4 °C (40 °F), the danger zone from 4 to 60 °C (40 to 140 °F), and hot-safe above 60 °C (140 °F). This visual indicator helps users quickly interpret a reading during food temperature checks.
In infrared mode, aim the lens at the target and scan to measure surface temperature. The 2.5:1 distance-to-spot ratio means the measured area grows as the instrument moves farther from the target. In probe mode, unfold the thermocouple probe and use it for contact temperature readings. The instrument supports minimum, maximum, and lock functions in both measurement modes.
