AMT575 Glass Thickness Meter

This Glass Thickness Meter is designed to measure the thickness of single-pane glass, insulated glass, and cylindrical glass bottles. It is particularly useful in situations where traditional rulers or calipers are difficult or impractical to use, for example, when measuring the wall thickness of glass bottles or laminated glass windows. For insulated glass, it can measure the thickness of each glass pane and the air layer between them at the same time. This meter is ideal for applications in quality inspection, supervision, education, manufacturing, sales, construction, and other fields.

Features:

1. Based on the laser reflection principle, the device measures glass thickness from one side.

2. It simultaneously measures both the thickness of the glass and the air interlayer.

3. The measuring range includes a glass thickness scale of up to 70mm and an air space scale of up to 34mm.

4. Easy Operation & Fast Measurement: Using laser reflection technology, the meter allows one-side measurement of both glass and air layers, making it simple and convenient to use.

5. Wide Measuring Range: It can simultaneously measure glass thickness (up to 70mm) and air interlayer thickness (up to 34mm).

6. Simultaneous Measurement of Glass and Air Layers

7. Versatile Applications: The meter is suitable for measuring the thickness of various types of glass, including single-pane glass, double glazing, triple glazing, and more.

Specifications:

1. Measurement Accuracy: ±0.5mm

2. Measurement Range: Glass thickness: ≤70mm, air interlayer: ≤34mm

3. Battery: Standard 2032 button battery

4. Dimension: 160 x 55 x 25mm (L*W*H)

5. Weight: 250g

How to use:

The device can assess both the air layer and glass thickness in insulated glass in one step. The following example illustrates the method of calculation:

C – D = thickness of the first glass layer (5 – 0 = 5mm)

A – B = thickness of the second glass layer (30 – 25 = 5mm)

B – C = thickness of the air layer (12 – 2.5 = 9.5mm)

Note: For accurate readings, view at a 45° angle under strong light.
